Nice interview and nice questions raised. Its good to know that there are a lot of people still interested in discussing about religion. We, Reformed Theological Seminary do the same thing. We discuss and help people to fully understand their purpose about life and growth through christianity

What a fascinating interview. Great job Christian.

In the beginning of the interview it seemed like Tony was persistently trying to avoid being trapped into a stereotype rather than explaining what beliefs define him. By the middle though, he seemed comfortable share some of his beliefs. That's where it started to get interesting to me.

I must say, I agree with Tony on the idea that clergy should stop being officers of the state in marriage. My legal marriage paperwork only serves to provide me the societal benefits of marriage from the state. Officiating a spiritual union before God is clearly the work of clergy, and the state can't interfere with that.

I hope you keep interviewing folks like Tony. While I'd still consider my self an evangelical, I think it's interesting to hear from people who seem to believe they've grown beyond the evangelical church.
