Making entertainment out of the tragedy of the Holocaust is a perilous path, esp. when Hollywood is involved. Although there have been some great films about the Holocaust, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas just isn't one of them. If you are interested in this subject check out "Au Revoir Les Enfants"-- a French film which deals with the Resistance and collaboration of France during WWII.
